Luxembourg Bank Creates Innovative Customer Experience with Motion Sensing Technology

With strong market competition, it’s crucial that the Luxembourg State and Savings Bank (Banque et Caisse d’Epargne de l’Etat, Luxembourg—BCEE) finds new and interesting ways to differentiate itself. The bank has a reputation for using technology to deliver dynamic financial services, and, in 2012, it launched two innovative customer service solutions based on Kinect for Windows and Microsoft Surface technologies. These tools provide customers with the means to access video and brochures, simulate banking services, and show branch locations in a convenient, user-friendly, and interactive way. The solution is part of the bank’s Agency of Tomorrow initiative and has received positive feedback from customers and media.
